Memorable b'not mitzvah tour David planned a fantastic trip in Israel for our extended family which included three grandparents, three of our adult daughters and eight grandchildren. Two of the grandaughters celebrated their b'not mitzvah in israel. From the moment we arrived, until our flight home, the trip was flawless. Our accomadations were great, and the activities planned were perfect for all ages. Our guide and driver were terrific. They were both extremely friendly, accommodating, and flexible whenever we made slight changes to the itinerary and we all felt like we were well taken care of. The trip was a memorable experience for everyone- grandparents, parents, and children alike.

Superior communication and implementation of the perfect itinerary! I work at a Jewish day school, so when it came time to plan a Bnot Mitzvah trip to Israel, there was no shortage of tour company recommendations. However, David Gross of Dekel Tours immediately stood out from the rest. To begin, I appreciated seamless communication with a native English speaker. In addition, as they say, presentation is everything. The proposed itinerary from Dekel tours was beautifully crafted with color images and easy to read text blocks. The other proposals I received looked like résumés, or a document you might use to take notes. The itinerary was 100% personalized to our family. From the hotels to the activities, every one of our interests and needs were considered. This was no easy feat with a group ranging in age from 12-78. We also had a particular tour guide in mind, (Sharon Pelleg), and Dekel tours was able to secure the tour guide of our choice. For the Bnot mitzvah, (2 daughters ages 12 and 15), we were given phenomenal recommendations for clergy, location and photography. Once the planning was complete, and we arrived in Israel, the superior service continued with immediate communication whenever needed. For example, we unexpectedly required a scooter for a family member who experienced limited mobility. A scooter was delivered to the hotel and our transportation was modified to accommodate. Also, a different family member needed a chiropractor, David was able to schedule and arrange travel to and from an appointment. I know this is quite the gushing review, but it is well deserved. Superior communication and implementation of an itinerary that provided the trip we dreamed of, earned this review.

Magical Trip Every detail of our trip was a joy - from the professional staff in the office to our fantastic guide. Mark listened to our goals and put together an itinerary that was engaging for first-timers and return-travelers. We were a congregational trip with people from 12 years old to 80, a mix of people who are Jewish and not, from several different states, and we came home connected to each other forever! As the person who staffed the trip, I was especially happy about the customer service and attention to detail we received from the Dekel staff.

3 Days in Israel - A delight thanks to Dekel Tours! From the first moment I reached out to Dekel Tours, I felt their attention to details. I chose them over two other tour companies I was considering in Israel. Mark was our tour specialist and answered all of my questions (and there were many) over the six months that we planned our tour in Israel. We were extremely tight on time as Israel was our cruise port for three days and we wanted to make the most of our time. Mark had great suggestions about what would work and what wouldn't and truly heard what my family's interests were. We had some unique requests and he gave us great advice about how to include them into our tour. Rani was our tour guide for our three days and he was fantastic! He only wanted to make us happy and share his WEALTH of information and love for Israel. He went above and beyond to make our trip special for the six of us traveling but especially for my kids. We all loved him. I will certainly be contacting Mark, Rani, and Dekel Tours again when we can return to Israel.

Custom tailored itinerary and personalized experience My wife and I took two of our granddaughters (ages 13 abd 14) on a tour of Israel and Jordan for their Bat Mitzvahs. We had a very narrow window of dates when we could make this trip and LeeAnn at Dekel worked out a fabulous tour based on our timeframe. We shared with her our initial ideas of what we would like to do and she took it from there adding many activities geared to our two teens. It was a busy 10 days but not hectic or rushed. Each of our guides was extraordinary. They were experienced, knowledgeable and engaging.

Two highlights stand out for me:

1) Our day in Jordan to tour Petra and our overnight at the Bedouin camp in the Jordanian desert were nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommended!

2) Our three days in Jerusalem were filled with ancient history and contemporary Jewish life. Our guide Abby made it both exciting and meaningful. No place like it on earth.

All four of us are so very grateful to LeeAnn, Brad and the entire Dekel team for giving us such a memorable visit to Israel to share with our grandkids.

An Amazing Family Trip to Israel with Dekel Tours We were in Israel to celebrate our son's Bar Mitzvah. David, our agent, put together the perfect trip for us from start to finish. We toured for 7 days and each day was full of memorable experiences and learning. We needed a change of plans one day due to rain and David suggested a visit to a Blacksmith. It was an amazing addition to our trip. Our son was able to work with the artist to create his very own Yad which he used during his service. This was one highlight out of many. Our guide Shira was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. She felt like part of our family. We made the right choice in choosing Dekel Tours for our trip and highly recommend them.

Wonderful, Attentive Tour Operator LeeAnn at Dekel worked with our extended family for a long time to schedule a (long awaited) family trip to Israel. LeeAnn and the Dekel team were incredibly knowledgeable and responsive, both prior to the trip and on WhatsApp while we were in Israel. They made everything from the airport transfers to the well selected tours/sites go smoothly. We also really appreciated the personal touch of LeeAnn meeting us at the hotel the morning of our first day of touring. We could not have had a better experience with Dekel and the guide and driver they set us up with (big props to Beny Shlevich, amazing guide).Two bonus points worth noting as an indication of the planning and customer service from Dekel:A) One morning, we were up north and came down to find out our bus had a flat tire. Somehow, the Dekel team had an alternate bus to us promptly so that we could make our first tour destination without delay while the original bus was being fixed. Magic!B) A few days after we came home, we got an unexplained charge from one of the hotels. We WhatsApp'd LeeAnn and she chased it down in-country and resolved it for us ASAP (even though this is still in Dekel's busy season and they are crazy busy).Thanks LeeAnn and Dekel for the trip of a lifetime.

Amazing family trip to Israel! Thank you to David at Dekel tours! My family and I (2 adults and 2 teens) have recently returned from a wonderful 2-week trip all over Israel. It was a trip of a lifetime! David helped us to plan and organize this long-awaited trip from the very beginning stages. He was quick to respond to any and all questions, no matter the time of day! Our tour guide, Asher, was outstanding! Knowledgeable, punctual and full of energy. He made sure to keep all of us happy, fed and entertained at all times. Highly recommend!
